PRIVATE RESIDENCE CORFU WEST COAST
A garden project on an extensive stretch of land bordering the sea, with unique characteristics of the west coast of Corfu which features particularly Furthermore, particularly in this area, together with the classic presence of local olive trees with small-sized fruits (lianoelia), there is an intensive spontaneous presence of cypress horizontalis, Pinus Halepensis, Pinus Pinea plants and a strong presence of typical Mediterranean vegetation, especially Myrthus bushes, Lentiscus, and numerous other species…. clayey and sandy soil…
The project was developed around the main aim of maintaining the naturalness of the site and preserving its natural resources through native plants that do not require constant irrigation and therefore extensive use of water resources.
This approach strategy was used above all in the creation of the hanging garden which completely conceals the presence of the private residence by entirely covering its roof… a particular suspended cell method was used to create a long-lasting hanging garden.
The choice and arrangement of the plants, in addition to the fact that they belong to the native species, was made in order to obtain inflorescences and chromatic variations in different periods of the year in rotation in order to obtain a pleasant aesthetic level even in periods of greater drought.
